Benefit AI Lab — Terms of Use

By requesting and using an account on the Benefit AI Lab HPC cluster, you agree to adhere to the following policies:

1. Proper Use of Cluster Resources

• All computations must be submitted to the compute nodes via the SLURM batch scheduler.

• Running compute jobs or applications on login nodes is strictly prohibited.

• Directly running jobs on compute nodes without using the scheduler is not permitted. For specific research needs requiring interactive access, please email a detailed justification to ailab@uob.edu.bh for authorization.

• Unauthorized processes found on any node are subject to immediate termination without notice.

2. Account Holder Responsibilities

• You must not attempt to access other users’ data or install unauthorized or malicious software on the cluster.

• You are required to respond in a timely manner to official correspondence from the Benefit AI Lab committee. All communications will be sent to the email address provided in this application.

3. Acknowledgment and Reporting

• You agree to provide, upon request, a summary of research and accomplishments achieved using the Lab’s resources.

• All publications, presentations, or other research outputs resulting from the use of the Benefit AI Lab cluster must include a formal acknowledgment.
